"I would say one at a time, but where is the fun in that? Why are you knocking on a police box in the middle of the night some people are trying to work here you know."
"Whys yous gots such a bigsie blue box?" The little creature questioned as she rapped her tiny little paws against it. "Mades a funny noise-y all wooooshies ands vwooorp.” Jewel imitated as she scampered closer to the man from the box. ”Ands works is boring, yous should plays instead,” she told him with a solemn nod, “Yous should plays with Jewels’s.”
When the creature began scampering, it made her lose her balance slightly. She tried not to step on it and raised a brow. “Bad word- Oh, god, ‘M so sorry. I tend ta swear when ‘M frightened.” She looked down at the creature. “Again, sorry… ‘M Charlie. ‘M nice, I swear.”
"Frighted? Of Jewels’s?" The little creature asked, honestly baffled as to how anyone could be afraid of her. She wasn’t frightening, she was adorable. ”Yous does swear, Charlie-Lady.” Jewel agreed with a tiny nod, not quite understanding the human’s phrasing.
Well that was n o t what the brunette had expected to come closer at her words; a tremor of surprise going through her form.
Oh, she had said that already, hadn’t she? “You’re a…goblin.” Yes, very good, Sarah. “What are you doing here?”
"Course Jewels’s a goblin," The little goblin giggled at the silly statement, "Jewels’s is heres to explore ands to gets her some new shinies." The little goblin held out her almost hand-like little paws revealing a shimmery stone and what looked like charms from an old bracelet that had lost it’s luster.
“Sarah-Lady!!" The little Goblin squealed as she scampered closer to the labyrinth’s champion.
The blonde watched as the little goblin tumbled towards her, Fuzzies? What on Earth is she talking about? she thought and then saw that the other was reaching out to touch her hair, so she went along with it.
"Hello to you as well," she chuckled lightly.
"Oh! Hello, Softie-Lady." Jewel snapped to attention as the human lady spoke to her. She glanced between her face then back to her hairs. "Hows Softie-Lady gets yous fur so long?" She asked curiously, wondering if she cold get her fur that long.
"If you got in does that mean you know a way out?!"
The little goblin would have said something, likely something about how goblins can get into anything if they wanted to enough, however something distracted her.
“Ahhhhhh, so much fuzzies.” She quickly tumbled towards the young woman. Jewel’s eyes wide in awe as she gingerly reached out and patted the woman’s long, golden hair. “Softies. Very softie.”
Pavel blinked. “I’m busy, make it quick….
….vhat do you vant?”
"Ooooh," The tiny goblin cooed as she scampered closer, her head whipping every which way as she looked all about. It didn’t seem as if she was in the Labyrinth anymore, this place was much shinier. She had been so engrossed in her new environment she hadn’t even noticed anyone else was there until someone, a human by the looks of it, spoke. "Hey—Heyhey! Who is yous?”
Charlie gasped. She couldn’t believe the creature she had seen.
"A runner? What the hell is that?" she raised a brow. "What the hell are you?”
Jewel let out a gasp of her own at the young woman. “Yous saids a bad word!!” The little creature exclaimed as she scampered about underfoot. Of course the tiny goblin heard bad words all the time in the Labyrinth from bigsie goblins and runners but she still knew they were bad words, even if she couldn’t remember why.
Post the CUTEST Headcanons you can think for my muse. If they’re adorable enough, I’ll make them canon!
Jareth stayed sitting in his throne, watching the little goblin scamper over to the ledge. Despite everything she had been through as a human baby, she still didn’t mind being around him. Most other tranfsormed humans held an innate fear of him. Perhaps it was because she didn’t remember her past, or didn’t let it bother her. Either way, it was refreshing to have her around.
As she came back, he once again leaned forward to look at her, a habit he had from talking to some of the smaller servants in the castle. “So I take it they haven’t caught the chickens? Wonderful.” He sighed and rolled his eyes. “But when I think about it, it has been a while since I’ve seen you. Where have you been, Jewel? Exploring?”
"Jewels’s thinks theys caught one or two ‘cause the chickies are mad.” Jewel figured the goblins down there were in for a lot of pecky-peeper attacks. “Jewels’s been outs lookin’ for new shinies.” She announced with pride, puffing out her tiny little chest as she spoke.
"Gots to finds a new hidey-spot too—Ifs Jewels’s don’ts then bigsie goblins will steal her shinies." Jewel was known for being fiercely protective of the little stones and baubles she collected if not exactly known for actually protecting them. So she was constantly finding, and sometimes forgetting new hiding spots for her growing collection.
